Everyone knows about Blu-Ray DVD players, but has anyone really seen the Blu-Ray in action? We shocked the laser industry once before with the introduction of the world's first and only Sonar Blu-Ray laser pointer. It's time for something more, something incredible Wicked Lasers proudly introduces the Sonar II Burner™.
The Sonar II Burner™ is three times the power and houses a genuine Sony Blu-Ray burner diode. With a newly redesigned aircraft-grade aluminum shell, the Sonar II Burner™ emits an unimaginably bright, 405nm violet beam powered by just two CR123A lithium batteries. This is your chance to get the most technologically advance Blu-Ray technology in the palm of your hands, literally.

We are using this to visualize cells on a laser scanner. The additional 405 laser for the scanner would be >$30,000. This laser will essentially provide the same resolution at 1/10 the price.
Pros:
Good power output, stable, well made, reasonable power consumption, 405 output is dead-on with very little UV and little scatter
Cons:
large unfocused spot, batteries are pricey, expensive but for 405nm there is no solid state alternative

Beautiful beam. Great Quality. Strongest constant wave blue beam ever.
