Spartec Optimal Stability Technology
Spartec is a patented negative feedback sensor system located inside the Wicked Lasers CORE. Unlike conventional laser pointers where the beam decreases in brightness after just a few minutes, the CORE is capable of maintaining a constant 5mW 532nm green laser beam. This is possible because the Spartec sensor carefully monitors power output. As output power decreases due to the buildup of heat, the Spartec system will detect this and automatically adjust the voltage to maintain brightness and stability.

I have just gotten this laser yesterday.. When i opened the box and took out the laser i wasen't expecting it to be so bright! It's funny at day but even more funny at night. The beam is totally visible and funny to take some of my old lens for my red laser which gives a sign, like a thump up, a dolllar-sign and a smiley and mount it on my green laser :).
Pros:

It's cheap and its beam is fully visible at night.
Cons:
60$ is a little to much and the 20$ shipping could be lower, but great laser.

It arrived today! 1st rule: check the batteries! Mine were 98% dead. The first try left me not so impressed. Then I noticed the beam flickering, so in went two new AAA's. This is REALLY the FUN PART! I was SHOCKED at what a difference the batterys made! I actually laughed out loud in SURPRISE and EXCITEMENT! Since I was a little boy, I always wanted a laser..one where you could see the beam..NOW I HAVE ONE! This fifty three year old man feels like a kid again! Thank you, Wicked Lasers!
