In 2004, Wicked Lasers introduced it's frist line of green lasers with output powers ranging from 5mW to 60mW. During this time green lasers were rare and came with a hefty price, much more so with the introduction of the blue lasers in 2006 when a 40mW blue laser cost as much as $3,500, but not anymore...

Seven years later Wicked Lasers is changing the status quo with the 2010 Price Drop. Having acquired a major laser manufacturer to meet increased demand, extreme cost savings are being passed directly to customers.

Wicked Lasers products will continue to be the world's most innovative and highest quality handheld lasers.

The graph outlines the fall of prices for Wicked Lasers line of green, red, blue and purple lasers. Prices for these lasers were extremely reduced making the once exclusive technology within reach and more affordable.

Price / Milliwatt
  2004200520062007200820092010
Green Lasers $6.49$6.67$6.67$5.67$5.67$4.66$1.99
Red Lasers -$2$2$1.92$1.92$1.91$0.25
Blue Lasers --$87.5$56.67$56.67$46.63$0.99
Purple Lasers ---$100$33.33$4.66$0.45

To illustrate the price drop more clearly, the graphs below present the change of price for each laser category. The Blue and Purple laser category had the most remarkable price drop effect. Just a few years ago these lasers were prized for their rarity and cost thousands of dollars but due to advancemnents in laser technology and laser diode availability, these lasers now cost a fraction of their previous price.

Red Lasers price per milliwatt dropped by 88% from 2005 to 2010.

Green Lasers price per milliwatt dropped by 70% from 2004 to 2010.

Purple Lasers price per milliwatt dropped by 100% from 2007 to 2010.

Blue Lasers price per milliwatt dropped by 99% from 2006 to 2010.
